What he said haha. That's sick I hope someone figures out the speedo issue. Those clusters are pretty sexy. I've been looking for one of the euro 140mph s13 clusters for a while now.

now that i've had it for a year i might as well spill the beans....
If you cross reference the s2000 pinout(found on a lot of honda forums) and the 240 cluster pinout it really simple. -You can only use an ap1 cluster as the ap2 need the s2000 ecu to work -Power, ground, blinkers, brights, dimmer just use the same wire on the 240 cluster harness -fuel gauge uses the same wire but requires a 27?ohm resistor to be somewhat close -tach is the wrong voltage so you either need a dakota converter or do whats called a "pull up resistor". T into the rpm signal a 12v source with a 680?ohm resister. This will bring the 5v 240 signal upto the needed 12v signal. Will be accurate for 4 cylinder engines. Think that covers the basics. It was a year ago i did the swap with a digital cluster harness so i dont have it written down anywhere. |

Just got this done on my convertible today. Bought cluster w/HUD on Craigslist for $110, they pulled it off a junk yard thinking it was a plug and play or something.
HUD heads up display works(Do not cut the dashboard, get a S13 coupe dashboard with HUD slot) Mad wires to match up, nothing a FSM and a solder iron can't handle Download a '94 maxima, 89-94 240sx FSM and prolly some pills and you're good to go! Just match up the wires Fuel gauge is not working properly, might need a maxima fuel sending unit. Shows 3/4 of thank but I only have 1/4 in tank with the original cluster. Need help on this... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thats awesome ^^^ actually the first time I've seen one actually wired in and running in an s-chassis. Thanks username. Seems like it would have to be done the old fashioned way.

This may be getting a little extreme, but I supposed with patience anything is possible. I think this would be very nice looking. If you've ever sat inside a CRZ, you'll know the pictures do this cluster no justice. And correct me if im wrong, but I believe as you approach redline/enter redline, the backlight to the tach fades and eventually turns red. Mega awesome in my opinion.

Thanks! The filter makes it appear that way but it's OEM. The stock S13 dimmer control switch and headlight dim will be wired in soon.

Finished up my cluster last week. Made the backing plate out of a butting board. I'm a cheap fuck, but what broadfield does is amazing. nothing but respect for him. Thanks for getting me my gauges Toby.
