![]() It sounds like a factory safety event that will not allow the car to be locked remotely while the motor is on. Since theoretically the car thinks the keys are in the ignition. So the remote lock must be de-activated when engine is on. The number one priority here is that a car owner does not get locked out when the engine is running. So it is logical to think that it is being de-activated when the engine is running.
