Problem With New (to Me) Coilovers! Help!
I just got some Tein HE's from a user on zilvia, and I have a problem with the rear ones. The knob to adjust the dampening can turn a lot more than 16 clicks, it just keeps on turning. In the manual on tein's website it says don't turn it past the last position, and that doing so can damage it. So I have two problems. If they are damaged, how do I tell, and if they aren't how can I figure out what setting they are on so I can at least get the two rears the same. Thanks.

turn it fully CW (clock wise)... thats full stiffness.... then going back CCW would make it soft... and dont use the last 4 clicks... CCW because that is too soft and will damage it..... hope that will help you out a little..
as for your question i have no clue.. good luck though... |

Thats the problem, there is no fully clockwise, it just keeps on turning, more than it should be able to. So I don't know if its completely messed up, or if it's just going to be really hard to know what setting I'm on.

Well it's fucked up. It'll click 100 times if you have the patience. I guess my question is: Do you think the dampening function is just not working at all, or am I just cycling through the 16 levels?
