Um...no, it's quite different. It's like having 25k worth of it laying around in your home and someone tips off the FBI. Except, in this case, someone tips off a hungry ICE agent and they come-a-knockin. Isn't worth the possible jail time and lost money to look cool.

IDK whats up with all these import experts lately, everyone knows this is a grey market car, case closed, move along this is a sale post not a discussion post about grey markets. If you insist on continuing and flooding my thread with your worthless comments make a topic in the general discussion category and get off my stuff, I dont purchase things to make you happy or to make you approve of what I do. |

To the person before who asked about cars being seized, the most common seizure is through an insurance claim. Why, you might ask? Well, most companies want to reject a claim, for whatever reason they can find. The car not being a federally legal car happens to be a valid reason! This is especially true in cases with injury, where cars are not up to safety standards set by the gumbment. It all gets reported to ICE and grats. Should've paid cash for your fender bender or have a really good umbrella policy for when that person you hit sues your ass after your insurance denies the claim and your car gets cubed. |
