CA Clean 95 s14

Looking to sell or trade my 95 240sx, car is a clean California title with no rust at all, passed California smog 6/30/17. it's 90% stock, only mods on it are generic coilovers, isr short shifter, greddy catback, and Godspeed rear adjustable traction camber and tie. It is base model so no sunroof but I have done a 5 lug conversion and it's currently sitting on perfect condition 350z anniversary wheels.

I'm willing to consider offers for trade or cash but I'm going to start my asking price at 8k. Feel free to put in your .02 on the price or what you think.

I second that one. If it has 131k original miles and if he is the original owner, i'd probably pay around the 6k range. But you know 240s --__--. clean car though. glws.

Everyone bitches about prices but fails to realize, right now these cars are a SELLERS MARKET now. Dont like a clean one with lower mileage or well built one for 6, 7, 8k? Tough shit! its a sellers market so go buy a shitbox full of suprises, on reps, with a shitty rebuild and low compression for 2 or 3 or 4k from the kid with a hoonigan sticker that doesnt know how to maintain or work on shit.

Unless your smoking crack, or desperate to buy crack your not gonna list your good 240 anywhere near the price of said hoonigan sticker kids, no matter what its really worth. Good 240's are getting harder to come by. Most of these cars are on their 5th+ owner, over 175-200k, and falling apart from poor maintence and neglect.

Id say you can get 5-6k, maybe 7 from the right buyer. Lets say you had PBM coils or similar, as opposed to generics, you can get more. Regardless....if its well maintained w/ 131k, no accidents or structural damage, no shoddy paintwork, list it at 7,500 or 8k because then you have some room to go down on price.

You get what you pay for.

The comment shows the duality of the subject. Just like sunroofs: should someone price their car more or less because some prefer a slick top and others don't? No. The car is mechanically the same thing.

Actually no sunroof saves weight and has a lower cog so mechanicals it's slightly better.
And yes majority prefer kouki over zenki and price is based on supply and demand also kouki are newer and deserve the price bump over zenki
For him to get asking price it would need to be cleaner there are panels not lining up overspray mismatch color on rear bumper to body front lip repair needed ect for $8k it would need to be a barn find with original paint untouched and not modified
