This is one of those hipsters that won't go turbo cause everyone else does and they have to be different, and he thinks he is some type of genius that will be able to make it work better than anyone before.
I say go for it, can't wait to see how far you make it. Willing to bet it gets sold for parts before doing anything spectacular.
