If you say they're undermining him by investigating his crimes....that's what the FBI exists for.

I know it is old news but this article make me think about this comment from a few days ago. Questions 5 - 10 is why I think the FBI is a hack and playing partisan politics both for and against President Trump.

Comey is a weird case. He's a lifelong Republican, undermined Mrs. Clinton's campaign & the like....but also has a moral issue with DJT.

The FBI is not the friend of liberals.
The FBI is not the friend of Trump (though I'd wager they do lean a bit conservative, less so though than local cops...which don't so much lean conservative as fall over to the right).

I don't want a conservative or liberal FBI. I want a FBI willing to investigate anyone who has done wrong. They do the job better than most government agencies do theirs.

The Republican House chairmen are at it again (i.e. Devin Nunes). This time they want Rod Rosenstein to hand over Comey's memos unredacted. The problem with that is that these memos are evidence in an active FBI investigation, which DOJ does not willingly share. If Rosenstein refuses it can set up the precedent for him to get fired. If he complies, it could set him up for conduct violations...thus setting him up to get fired.

As for the US attorney office in SDNY, the interim AG (handpicked & interviewed by Trump) had to recuse himself from the Cohen investigation. His interim status will expire in a few weeks. At that point he is either formally nominated for Senate confirmation or replaced by another nominee. We already know how Trump feels about Session's recusal, so it probably won't be different from this recusal as well.

Also the Senate leader confirmed he will not bring to the floor a bill to protect Mueller.

I'm really curious to see how all of this plays out.

I agree. One on hand he raises some interesting thoughts, but on the other he gets real petty and interjects into politics. Also as a witness in an active investigation, you would think he would not go HAM on the media blitz spilling the tea to sell his book too.
