The last RB i saw had its cylinders full of water and rust. They are a good starting point and thats it. Do not expect to just swap them and be done with them.

That's just a another reason to pick LSx or build a USDM 2J monster. If you're gonna have to rebuild anyway, why not start with something inherently superior?
