Same thing happened to me, I just pulled the other half of the key out, lined the two parts up, glued them and went to one of the home Depot key makers (it has to be one that takes a picture if the key, the one where you put the key into a slot obviously won't work). Make sure the key isn't twisted, I had to hammer mine flat because when it broke the key twisted 90° and then snapped.

It took some luck but it's probably the cheapest/easiest way of doing it. Learned my lesson and made multiple duplicates for my cars.
