You ascribe more weight to the statements of one team than the other, regardless of truth or science. I'm not on a team, I only want what's best for the country- because it's ultimately best for me as a citizen, business owner, and car enthusiast.

You're willing to side with the kid despite evidence to the contrary but you're also willing to call the people he shot "looters" despite no evidence. Both are innocent until proven guilty, although both are guilty of being stupid. The only difference is that one of them was stupid enough to kill.

They're spreading falsehoods at a rate faster than anyone with a job could disprove them appropriately. Sensationalist statements of fiction are easier to read and digest than well-researched rebuttals with links and adequate quotation.
