I can?t see the European metro model working in America, especially NOW. Manufacturing and classically ?blue collar? jobs are shifting to desk job type shit, which I think is good for America and Americans, if we are to progress. The only threats are security and the ISP?s never-ending war on net neutrality. China won the manufacturing war, but if America is to continue to lead the world, we can never lose the innovation war. You know what encourages innovation? People not having to dig through trash or jump through hoops to get to their next meal and have a bed to sleep in. Hard to look up when you?re forced to keep your nose to the ground... shit idk where I?m going with this rant... I guess basically people worry too much about what other people are doing and not enough about the bigger picture. Taking a step back to look a things is a good thing to do 🤷🏼*♂️

While that's totally great for a broad "oh hey, they are adults at the start of the Millennium!" naming convention, it's not an accurate cultural classification.

Plenty of discussion has been done on it, but basically the cultural differences is did you have Facebook, Cellphone and Internet in Highschool.

If you graduated before 2004, the answer is no, and thus you had a very different cultural experience then the post 2005 crowd.
