Trump is a shitheel and it makes me immeasurably disappointed in my country that he got as many votes as he did. There are people who I will always distance myself from because they voted for Trump. I've seen their true nature by virtue of who they support.

You can be judged by the company you keep. If you keep company with a demagogue who has a dog whistle around his neck, who lacks empathy, who lacks understanding, who lacks the entirety of a holistic mindset... then you're scared, you're subservient, you're ignorant, or you're an asshole like that person.

I want a better America. Trump wants to "make it great again," but he forgets himself. He doesn't know what time period he wants. He doesn't know what, exactly, will make it great again. He knows what he's told by pundits, by advisors, by birdies whispering in his ear, but he's not a student. He hasn't made himself a flow chart of what and who and when and why and how the confluence led to a greater US.

He wants manufacturing, but has no idea where, why, or how.

He wants a wall, but his purposes don't justify the expense.

He wants to project strength abroad, but shows weakness at home. How mighty the US is, with its aircraft carriers and tanks and guns and
widespread poverty and
sub-par healthcare and
rampant drug violence. oh no the emperor is naked again

He answers swiftly, but his answers aren't substantive. He often shows how little he knows about almost everything. Again, he's not a student.

Socratic or scientific methodology is foreign to him, and even if he decided that public argumentative dialogue was beneficial, his knowledge is superficial, so his hypotheses are quite literally childlike.

Only stupid people elect a stupid person to represent them.
