Gonna be honest, I don't generally flex who I voted for but I promise you it wasn't Biden. Dude hasn't even taken office yet and his lackeys already talking about stripping constitutional rights by slapping a label on specific things. What is an 'assault weapon?' Who will make that determination? Boy, I hope the Supreme Court shoots that shit down immediately.

"Assault weapon" will probably be used as defined by Webster's or common understanding (another reason why pedantry is important- it helps weed out bad faith arguments based on biased news sources). The majority of people don't own guns.

I will repeat myself: gun control is easy. Gun control doesn't cost Democrats anything and keeps contributions rolling in. Fixing the problems with America is hard- harder than anything the US has ever done, and will cost huge amounts of money. That money will make the government unpopular until the cultural shift happens and the government returns to popularity because everyone realizes that it works.

The only way for the US to succeed is for our government to tighten its belt and start delivering on promises of general welfare that it has not delivered for decades now.

Biden will not finish his first term, as Kamala is waiting for her first chance to 25th Amendment his ass.
Next, the GOP takes back the house and introduces articles of impeachment for some odd-ass reason including "impersonating a black woman," as if they have never been to Jamaica or ever heard of the one drop rule. SHe will beat the ridiculous impeachment, but it will be enough to put a dent in her attempts to run for reelection.

This whole time, I will have been working on restablishing the influence of Tammany Hall and reestablishing the Democratic Republican party and I will run on the fact that it is now apparent that one needs not give a mad prison assfuck about that pesky constitution. I will use the fact that William Howard Taft was the last bearded president we ever had and that a bearded president who drinks too much and cusses around children is PRECISELY what Pennsylvania Avenue needs.

Thats collectivism which generally is accompanied by socialism; Which has proven to never work. In fact, many people in regions where communism/socialism is in place die due to poverty or even by the hands of their own govt.

?Gun control is easy? - peddling that bullshit about taking guns, restricting sales, stricter modification rules, no extendo-mag thingies blah blah blah is the tactic Dems use because it?s more direct and visible.

?Deliver on promises of general welfare? - addressing mental health, unemployment, housing, and other issues that lead to gun violence would be the correct way to stymie the problem, but it would be expensive, take time, be difficult to quantify, AND the right would scream bloody SOCIALISM the entire time.
