While the Constitution doesn?t require electors to follow their state's popular vote, many states' laws do. Though it's rare, electors have challenged those laws and voted for someone else. But in July 2020 the Supreme Court ruled (PDF, Download Adobe Reader) that those state laws are constitutional. Electors must follow their state's popular vote, if the state has passed such a law.

The states have CERTIFIED their votes. The Popular vote in PA, GA, AZ, etc have gone to Biden. So what you are asking, if for the electors to cast their vote for trump, which goes AGAINST the popular vote and AGAINST the states constitutional laws

So why are you wanting the electors to not only BREAK constitutional law, but to also UNDERMINE the vote of the people?? Popular vote (state, not nationwide) has trump losing in the key states I mentioned above.

So with your knowledge, please explain to me why you are still claiming it is not over yet??

I am really trying to understand our logic here as what you are asking is not only against the law, it is AGAINST the various states constitution as well as UNDERMINING the people (popular) vote.

Why are you unable to grasp that MORE people voted for Biden that trump?? I think that is your underlying issue here. NOT that people voted for Biden. But that a vast majority of America (I use that term lightly as 70+ M still voted for trump vs almost 81M for Biden) do not agree with your pick for president......

Yes he got my vote, and i said from the get go ill accept any election result. No i dont think trump has a chance to win these legal battles. But....... he still has his rights to fight what he thinks is fraud.. he will have to prove it.

This is the one I have always had a problem with.
At the very least, continue to weight the votes as current, but once the state certifies and the governor signs the certification, extra procedural bullshit is a waste of time and taxpayer money.
Now when we consider the weighting as it is came from a fucked up place to begin with [1], it has been LONG time for some redress.
