Soldiers who are drafted don't fight for a cause of their choosing. They fight for a cause of their country's choosing, and their country's choosing depends on which lobbyist can take which congresspeople to which lunches and which escort is supper, or who slept with whose mistress, or which president/prime minister/premier/prince/princess/king/queen wants to measure dicks with another.
