Correct! I bought the car with a US spec EJ205 that had a bad motor, then swapped it for a fresh EJ206 and bigger turbo setup. Swapped all the sensors and plugs over and kept all the factory OE options like cruise control, AC, etc..

The EJ206 (JDM TT motor) is about the best option out there for a hassle free swap without doing an extensive wiring harness conversion.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification. I own a couple outback XTs, one built for track and one built for off-road which is why I was genuinely curious.
