I’m currently swapping my s14 differential out for a j30 vlsd. I have everything bolted up, noticed the front bolts when fully tightened left a gap between the diff and subframe. So I put the s14 top rubber bushing on and it seemed to close the gap but, to me, it doesn’t visually look smooshed to the subframe like I’d expect it should? Am I supposed to use the s14 bolts and rubber inserts in the diff ears? Or is the s14 rubber cup on the top all?
