So I'm back on the forums as I've got motivation to restore my Kouki after some years. It's bringing a lot of memories back from when I first got it. Also, thinking how many years really have gone by since I drove it and how long I've had it (25 yrs). Which brings me to my question:

How many people in this forum are the original owners of their s-chassis (no matter what year)?

I can't say that I'm the first of mine. I'm the second:

Got it in January 1999 at the age of 21
I knew what I had before the vast majority knew what I had. Before Fast&Furious and the drift craze.

Purchased my 97 Kouki back in 1999 at 22yo.

Also currently going through a full rebuild.

I'm the third owner of mine. Bought it from an older couple that owned it from '94 to 2014 when i bought it.
1990 hatch, factory manual, california car, KG1 paint faded.
i've put about 40k miles on it in ten years, 30k of those miles with the LS swap.

I am the second owner of mine. Purchased in Dec. ‘05 from the original family. Acquired at 74k it now has 120k, coming up on 20yrs of ownership.

I bought a one-family-owned s13 hatch last weekend. It's been sitting for 15 years so it needs .... everything?

But it's a cool story of parents buying it for the oldest sister in high school and then it making its way through all four sisters over the years before being parked. It's an automatic that is apparently blown, and someone took the cylinder head off 15 years ago and left the motor open. Picking up a motor for it this weekend and already have half the parts for a 5spd swap, just looking for a clutch pedal.

Not an OG owner.

I did have my '93 hatch for 12 years buying it in 2005 from the second owner.

I believe I'm the 3rd owner of my R32 and I'm the 2nd owner of my STI.

My '89 is a single family car. My mom bought it new in '89, I bought it off of her in '95.
