i was driving to my girlfriends, and i noticed the clock on my dash wasn't there!  it was lit up properly (driving at night), but there just weren't any numbers on it.  what do i do!?!?!  i have my stereo out, trying to replace my butchered factory harness.  could that have something to do with it?  i'm thinking about just trying to replace the whole instrument panel, because my gas gauge quit working.  any hints?

Check your fuses.

If your gas gauge quit on you the problem might not be the gauge.

You might have to pull the tank to fix it. Ack!

it still isn't working, i thought it might work this morning... but nothing.  what do i need to do to the gas tank once i drop it to fix the gauge?

Ugh I tried swapping my head units in my OLD S13....I did the same thing, I had soooo many problems...

I just sold my car.

Sorry, I'm no help.  

But you probably have a bad ground, or shorted something out.
