So im still in the process of piecing my sr together. Backstory is i got just a motorset so i need to get the parts that are missing. So far i have managed to get a new crank angle, and i got the ignitor chip. i will be ordering the water pump this week. so what other necessities are there? i have a 89 fastback, i read that i will need an alternator and power steering pump. which alternator can i use? i have been doing a lot of searching on this and a few other sites and these answers are pretty hard to come by. ive been looking through all the faqs and noticed that there is no faq for building up a motor set. it would be so much easier if a faq was put together about what would be needed to complete a sr motorset and what should be replaced. i think it would definately be useful for all the people who didnt get front clips. just a suggestion.
