before the lock, props to Shane for taking the high road and not being childish. Congrats on surviving your hazing

However.... what's a 91 XE? Wasn't the XE designation for the 89-90? I have an original 91 sales brochure... XE is no where in there man
You either have a SE, LE, or base (no trim designation)

lol. It's kind of sad actually. I had a 91 fb, I totaled it, not dorifting. Anyway, long story short. I hit a truck, and fucked up the entire driver side. I have pics at my cardomain (shanelxi.cardomain.com). Anyhow, I am in the process of swapping my ka24de and five speed tranny into my auto '90 with a blown 24e. I can only work on it on sundays (rough work scedule) and I still have to pay it off. Any how, so it's a '90 base with '91 internals. I even need to swap out the interior, so it will basically be the exact same as my old car except a different color. That's why I call it my '91 XE. That sig was made for my '91 base, but I added the 'XE' on after I bought the '90 because I was too lazy to make a sig, lol. So, because of my laziness, I will pass it off as a lame nickname for my new car, lol.

I said it before. I don't get worked up about shit on the net, lol. It's not worth it. Some guy 8 states away judging me from the 3 posts of mine that he has read? No way. Maybe after a while that person will warm up to me, if not, forget them, what are they going to do? I will usually insult such people in a way that is hard for their feeble minds to comprehend. I usually get atypical 'well your just jealous" or "hmm, you ricer." " this thread is gay". It's a forum, not worth getting worked up over. I do understand that it is great to have a little fun at somebody else's expence every once in a while. I was the subject this time. Maybe htings will go better next time though, lol.

ps: directed at wannabe L337 'porche' guy (aka ) : lol. I actualy pride myself in my self taught skills with photoshop. While you may be unimpressed with my sig, I never thought for one moment that it was inferior to anybodies sig. So why would i have posted out of anger about my sig being crappy if I thought, and still think, my sig is nice? lol. I was not ragging on n00bs neither. I was talking about n00bs that act like veterens by covorting around and masquerading like they know what they are talking about. Agreeing at all costs to get into the 'inner circle' by complying with what they see as the popular point of view. That person quite possibly could be yourself chachi. lol.

Hey...

...

Who makes those Teddy Bear rims? Those things are dope.

I'd want one in a low offset so I can have that dope "sunken face" look.. it'd look like I was torturing the teddy bear. lol

ps. Your choice in wheels is terrible. Get something that doesnt weigh 5,000lbs
pps. I was serious about who makes the Teddy Bear rims. I seriously want a set.

just to make sure you take away something useful from this thread....coilovers have LESS clearance between the strut and wheel, not more. the spring is a smaller diameter on C/Os but it is at the same level as the wheel and tire, not above it like with AGXs and stock struts.

Wouldnt be that big of a deal, provided they weren't 14" rims.

Sigh.

I sent them a msg asking if they could make a 15" set just for me.

seriously though, don't go 5 lug just to settle for some crappy wheels made by a crappy company. If you go 5 lug, there are a ton of wheels that you can fit on the 240, like fno1rc, yea everyone has them, but everyone has a 240 too, so what. mb motorsports weapon wheels, 17X9 +17 offset, looks sick. falken hanabi, 17X9+20 offset, ugly, but 4 lug and 5 lug. There are also a ton of online stores with imported wheels, all the ones with good offsets are 5 lug.

I emailed 'em and they said 14" only. They have no plans to make any other sizes.

And, provided I COULD get them in the correct bolt pattern/size/offset, I WOULD rock them.

But not gonna happen.

sniff.

If you aren't going to race, drift, autoX and just want a nice looking car, you won't even notice the weight all that much. Your performance will hardly suffer.
I love how if he were asking opinions on SSR Professors, everyone would be like..... "ooooh, those are the tytest Jdm rimz evaaarr!!!" When in reality, they weigh just as much as those "shitty" Motegi wheels. I say get them, they will look good with the black face/polished lip.

Shane, since you work at schwab, you probably get a hook up. You should just get the amp tsukuba with the low offset, do a 5-lug conversion, and rock those 4" rear lips!
