I Did It Again! Stupid Bolt!
Yeah, I did it again , I sheared the head of of the bolt that holds the caliper to the bracket on the rear brake of the 240. I got the other bolt off fine, but the head just snapped on this one. Anyone have a ny tricks for getting the last of the caliper off so that I can hopefully do some brakework? I have already staurated the bolt (which is flush with the caliper-DANG) with a generous amoount of PB Blaster lubricant. PLEASE I NEED HELP!!!

so theres no head to the bolt? So theres nothign to grab onto? My solution would be drill it out. But sweet jesus is that even posible on that bolt? Its a hefty one isnt it?

that bolt comes in from the back right? the only thing i can thnks of is disconnect the brake line, and remove the whole deal and take it to a machine shop, they should be able to help you. they usually charge around $15 for that kinda stuff. good-luck

okay, i basically took the entire substructure off, i.e. everything offof the drive shaft , drilled out what I could of the bolt and then physically beat the rotor of of the bolts and the bracket just popped off thank God. I just had to get a new braket because I think that I might have messed up the thread
