Which exhaust for S13???

I'm trying to decide which exhaust to get for my 89 fastback. All the exhaust i see nowadays are the canister type ones. Does anyone have pictures of exhaust on the s13's?

3" mandrel bend
no resonator (gettingitput in later)
looks stock, but ridiculously loud. haha

hey Aaron, you have any pics of Lindsay's exhaust that he had done. Or was it Maeda=Brian(correct me if im wrong). I was looking at that dual setup and I want something subtle yet loud as hell.

it really depends on you. if your looking for a specific sound, look ...etc. if you odnt want a canister type, i think RSR is a hell of a catback that has a nice motor type sound when you step on the gas peddle but when idling it is as quiet as a baby sleeping.

I think canister ones are cool too. it makes the car look mean and sounds mean...but thats just IMO. if you want a rumbling sounding monster type...go with this. something like HKS hyper, Apexi N1, ive heard Uras is good. but them catbacks cost a grip!....if your not ready to spend like $500-600 exhausts, go with the SSAUTOCHROME one on ebay...thats the one i got and i love the sound....%99.9 happy with it.

but hey there may be a lot more youd rather prefer...use the search button. theres a ton of threads with exaust preferations thatll give you a wider variety. if you wanna look for sounds on a couple, go to tech next to gallery.

I have a RSR GT2 exhaust and it isnt quiet. The exmag is quiet and subtle looking, but the GT2 is basically race spec. Light, 3", and straight through. Optional silencer, mines out (track car and SR20) but its VERY loud.

i just bought a hotshot header (ok i traded my ps2 for it but whatever) and before i put it in i want to get the rest of the exhaust pieces. someone told me to go with the SSAutochrome catback and a megan test pipe instead of a cat....the car is a 91 240 with a KA24DE stock with an intake. thanx!

oh btw, sorry for jacking the thread.

I thought about getting the N1, but I think I'm going to buy the Espelir JGT500 3", just to have something you don't see all the time.

I've heard the exhaust sounds pretty good, and the quality is great as well.
