i have just put my sr back into my car a couple of weeks ago, the motor has a tubular manifold,fmic, and i have added a greddy intake manifold when the motor was out.

the problem i have is that when i start the car up and let it ilde, it idles at about 900rpm,which is good , but atfer i drive the car the idle goes up to aroud 1800rpm and stays there. the only way to make it drop is to let the car cool down, but it comes back when the gets hot again.
the other thing that makes the idle normal is clamping the iav hose off, then the idle goes to normal.

questions

1. can this be remedied ,if so how
2. can i remove the aiv and not have any drivability problems
