Hey guys, im having trouble with my swap. My tranny is not shifting into 1-4 gears. It can only go into 5 and reverse. Thing is, when I leave it in neutral and start the car, the wheel begins to spin almost as if it was in gear. The more gas i put, the faster it spins. The reverse just stalls when i try to gas it. Heres more info. S14 doing a 5 speed swap. s13 tranny.

do you have all the sensors hooked up on the tranny?

I got the speed sensor and reverse lights hooked up. Using auto harness.

by it's not shifting do you mean you cant get it into gear? can you put it in a ger with the engine off? with the wheel spinning thing is your car off of the ground? the wheels will spin in neutral if they are off the ground and have no resistance. hook the brothas up wit some more info

try bleeding your clutch master and lines more , if you have the dampner installed you have probably got a lot of trapped air in there.

Yea, all jack stands are holding up the car. Wheels do spin in neutral. When i put it into reverse and try to make the wheels turn the other way it dies. I cant put the car into 1-4 at all. Imma try bleeding them some more. When will i kno if i am done?

if you cant put it into 1-4 with the engine off than you have another problem besides bleeding the clutch you may need to remove the rear housing off of the trans to see if somthing is wrong with the shift rails

Yea, i was thinking the same thing. It wont go into gear from 1-4 at all. Engine on or off.

yes it has 2.5 liters.

your trans is fucked. open it up and see what is wrong also you may want to start searching for a new one or a shop that can repair transmissions
