s13 Bolt broke! T/C bracket

Anyways I was installing on a nismo powerbrace there are 3 bolts that hold it on the driver side. The single one on one side that mounts to the frame ended up snapping inside the frame when torque'd to the proper specs. Have any ideas on getting the rest of the bolt out of the frame? I still need to get a new bolt to mount the brace onto that side. AHH! suggestions would be good! Thanks guys!

well you have to drill a hole in the bolt and use a screw extractor. Spray Lub it up a lil to help turn it out.

That's a Grade 8 bolt so it's going to be a bitch to drill out. Have fun!

Also, I'm suprized you broke it. Used a tq wrench? Is it upto calibration(every year)?

Managed to get it out looked like the bolt had like an air bubble in it or something funked... Definately bad bolt not due to too much torque. I was using a torque wrench when it went. I managed to use a 9/64 drill bit and was going to use an extractor but drilled it up to a certain point used a allen wrench and just spun it out and damn it was pretty deep in there too, surprised i got off this easy! Nismopowerbrace is on now with some battleversion Tension rods, now an alignment and yeehaw!

i went and ordered from phase 2, everywhere is similar priced but i think they might have been cheaper on shipping then Enjuku or courtesyparts etc. Plus I had my tension rods ordered at the same time so nice combo upgrade, my old tension rods were blown wide open. More road feel not as bad though as everyone makes it sound. Nice upgrade that compliments other suspension components!
