FET Quick Release Spacer

hello, does anyone have any opinions in terms of quality regarding this QR?

i am considering switching from my ball-bearing type to this.

reason being because my current set-up pushes the wheel too close to me.

ASpec products carries them readily out here in the inland empire. I've been told they are very well off, smooth install, over the NR-G QR, I plan on incorporating this type hub to a nardi Classic, If I do not end up with the FET, then the BOSS style hub is directly behind it. . .

BOSS is NOT a brand of hub.
usually it is HKB that says Boss on the box.
boss is just a differentway of saying hub.

So what are the benefits of this QR over the NRG? I was all set to buy the NRG,hub, and wheel from SRT Motorsports in their group buy, but they haven't answered posts, PMs, or eMails from me in well over a week now. Grrr.

its personal preference, i have the woodbell one. FET doesnt space the wheel as much as teh ball lock ones.

Thanks Niyon, big ups, you gonna be down with the Nardis or what?

Yoshi: some of the benefits of the FET are as follows:

1. thinner (1" thick) than the NRG, so wheel is not in your face. you throw something like a momo hub + nrg hub + wheel, looks like your steering column is ten feet long. since it's thinner, you also have less material to take along with your wheel when you transport it. it's almost as if you only take the wheel itself with you.

2. non spline locking, so it has absolutely no play whatsoever. no need to grease and lube up the FET either.

3. affordable, for $20-30 more versus the others, you get JDM quality and brand name.

but as stated above, at the end of the day, it's all preference.

i try to refrain from shameless plugging, but like niyon said, we always keep well stocked on these. the group buy is over, but all folk are welcome to hit me up for a zilvia deal. socalers feel free to stop by and check it out in person.

do they retain use of the horn?
It's hard for me to justify the FET over the NRG when the NRG is so much cheaper :/ Could I get a package deal from you guys if I wanted hub+wheel+QR?

meh, I'll PM u.

The horn button does work still no problems with that.

It's great not having the wheel all close to you, like you could slam
your face into the wheel.

The nice thing about the FET is that there is NO PLAY
