Ever since i bought my 240 i havent been able to unlock my drivers side door. i dont know why i just havent got around to fixing it. Ive always used the passenger side and then i go out to my car today and i cant unlock it. Ive never had trouble before and i just drove the a few days ago. the key will start to turn to the right, but will just stop. i can turn it a little bit more to the left, but thats not helping anything. i have a 92 se coupe. any suggestions

u need one of those new key things.... u can see whos parting out there s13.. get the lock mechanism and key.. good to go.. ur gonna have a pair for ur car tho...

the arm on your key lock probably snapped... it happen to mine, and a friend.. just gotta get one used and have a locksmith match it to your key, or buy a new one from dealer and have a new different key.

what really sucks, is that im moving back home for summer tomorrow, but i cant...because i cant get into my car!!!???

try penetrating oil in the lock first, it is most likely your tumblers, after that also turn the lock left before right, it sometimes helps mine

Take the interior door panel off the inside then re-attach the metal rod to the tumbler mechanism......someone probably pulled it out trying to "slim jim" your car open......but if your tumbler is broken you can buy a new key set from my friend who has one for sale (ignition, doors, trunk......PM for details).
