HUD spedo not displaying

just installed hud and just started the car while putting the dash in, and everythign is working tach, ect... but nothign displayed on speedo. i wasnt moving but i would think it would display atleast lines or 0? but i took it out of a 91-94 coupe, automatic trans, and installed it in a 93 hb (m/t) and used the wiring harness, any idea's what to look for or do would be great! (and the speedo was working prev to this install). both motors are a ka24de.. though i use a enthapy ecu, if that makes a differnce

sometimes the circuit boards are very brittle and the connections can get messed up. Maybe that happened not really sure how to diagnose it, My coupe's worked, But my friend's went out and he never took the dash apart.

It should at least show 0(mph) on start up
Mine worked up until my SR swap. It doesn't work anymore, BUT does light up on startup then fades away.
Check your connections again

i only post when i dont have my fsm around, thought nothign helpful came up on the search. but nothing comes up on the speedo nor backlights do not work. i used stock digital harness and just plugged it right up to my stock harness. tack is working fine, fuel, temp, turnsignals everything but the speedo and backlight. i checked the fuse and my dimmer switch is working fine.

*** anyone have a pinout of the HUD harness so i know what im looking at when i try to nail it out tomorrow

i have the same problem but i'm just too lazy to fix it or replace it, from what i've researched it's usually because it's old the solder joints on the hud are weak, and you need to get them resolder'd or get the whole thing replaced, im not sure of the site but i remember like kaido sold a hud unit for 200 lol..expensive, i've found places that fix the hud online but they're all far away, i'm here in socal, kinda skeptical sending them my hud, dont' wanna drive the car around w/o a cluster
