hi guys, i'm just a guy with a stock '98 240, and i'm still not sure which path i'm going to do down.. (KA-T, SR, or RB) theres a possiblity for them all. my budget low, (as well as for others, i'm sure) and i'm wondering if anyone has purchased the XS POWER turbo kit for the KA or SR before? i'm not really interested in it, but i'm wondering about the possiblities of how this kit performs.

so if anyone would tell me anything you know about it, please let me know, just to cure my curiousity. i've heard from a friend that XS-power holds their turbines together with 'glue' but i'm not sure. i tried searchin it in zilvia, but havnt really found anything because it omits the letters 'xs'. so please let me know. i know it's a knock-off, but it might be good? it's like obx headers, compared to hot-shot.. possibly?

The turbo is pure shit. It is held together with glue. There are probably more threads about this over on a honda forum. They've tried it and had problems with it. It isn't worth it in the slightest.

yeah, so i've heard they are shit, but thanks, i'll search for it. i just wanna know if anyone else has used it 'successfully' and got that 'easily 550 hp' hahahha.. but if anyone has had it, leave your feedback. i just wanna know what you guys think of it. not all experiences for items are the same.

I know of a local shop here in town that deals in their parts. I have seen the "performance" of these kits but never owned them. I can say they are complete crap. I wouldn't feel right about buying or selling these paper weights.

i have yet to read a review making that amount of hp with that crap...........so as for anyone admitting they have a big hp gain with junk i highly doubt it....
