Ok, this might sound a little rude.. but seriously, this kind of crap makes me sick.

I was driving on the 101 on my way to a job interview this afternoon. I see this nasty Lancer with those Altezza's (or whatever they're called) some nasty sounding muffler and some fake ass blow off valve from probably like, Auto Zone or something.

I switched to the middle lane, which would have been right next to him. He slows down and lines up with me while I'm going 70 mph. He starts reving on me. I just look over at him and laugh. Seriously, I'm not a street racer/ricer. I care too much about my safety and others to sit there and race down a busy highway that's known for so many deaths.

After I ignored his "request" to race.. he floored it and took off. Yeah, so I own an import too. It doesn't mean I'm going to race you. I don't care to race. If I wanted to race, I'd make my car into a race car and would goto a track. His fake blow off valve sounded like some belt that was too tight though.. I don't know. It was kind of loud on the highway. All I know is that that car should have been in some Hall of Shame. BLAH.

eh but no need to make a thread about it. everybody gets it. i get it all the time, and if you seen my car youd know why.

i was on the highway and a s13.5 pulls next to me on the highway at 2am in the morning with his turbo kept revving at me and tryign to make me race. all he was doing was showing off his car, all i did was light a cig and smoked. nothing new.

My car is bone assed stock to the average outsider, save for the exhaust, tinted tail lights and stereo, but I am revved on and approached EVERY day with the standard bullshit "lemme bother a 240SX owner" questions. I grew thick skin a long time ago, I just let these fucks go on about their lives

I like when they rev on me at lights, I rev back and let them peel out when the light changes. Then I beep my horn and wave when they are pulled over 2 blocks later. Even if I had a fast car I still wouldn't race on the street, too many variables to deal with. Keep it on a track/more controlled environment. Oh yeah, starting this thread just to whine because some dumbass revved his engine at you on the freeway was really lame.

Honestly i would have pulled on them hard enough to pass them a few lengths, then hit the breaks, flashed a shitty smile and let them go on in shame..... or would have they been to quick for you? hmm.... we may never know.

actually, after re-reading this; maybe it was a lan evo. the high spoiler is stock, as are the altezza style tails. oh, and the turbocharger.
