Can you not just swap in the 5-Spd ECU and put in the new M/T harness?

It's not just the engine harness that's different. Buy an FSM and start reading, then you'll understand.

Yeah that's a helpful link, but unfortunately the wiring portion leaves much to be desired. Here's a link to the wiring help I found.

I used a manual lower harness when i did my SR/manual swap only thing i am missing is reverse lights...prob just a matter of a little splicing
