I just have this thing about buying a turbo, and then welding a downpipe to it. Are they usually welded? Mabey it's me and it just seems barbaric to do...
-Jeff Also. Does anyone know the flow rates of a 300zx fuel pump?

the exhaust side of the turbo goes into an outlet pipe and then that bolts into the down pipe and that bolts into the CC and then so on .

nope, downpipe is bolted on the exhaust side (turbine) of the turbo. outlet pipe IS the downpipe, it should be one piece from the turbo to the exhaust system.

No no. I plan on buying the D A Performance turbo system. The only thing I thought was funny is their $75 downpipe. It is "custom" made and is welded to the turbo. I am kinda wary about this kinda stuff. People telling me to do stuff to a $1500 turbo I don't think I should be doing to it.
Should I not buy the downpipe, and have a muffler shop fabricate one for me? -Jeff
