Turbo timer harness question
So I bought a TT harness off of ebay. It plugs right into my Greddy TT. But it wont start my car, with the harness removed and factory plugs are plugged back in, it starts. The turbo timer does work, with the key off, it remains running.
I'd take pictures of it, but batteries are dead. Anyone with a pic of a 240sx TT harness? I just want to see where the wires are routed, or which wires are missing. Thanks in advance. Edit: Also, the plug I plugged it was inside the steering columb. Since there wasn't any plugs underneath the dash. This harness is susposed to be for a clean install, and be idiot proof. |

It should only route 3 wires into the TT. I think they are red yellow and black, but thats a wild guess, its been a while.

Okay, with some help, I found the problem.
The s13 TT harness, will plug into an S14 harness. In order to make it work, you need to add a wire to S13 TT harness. ![]() I added the red one ![]() I lent my digi cam to someone, so I'm stuck with a crapcam. |

ANOTHER QUESTION!!! Why is that, if I turn the key off from "RUN" to "ACC" the car doesn't stay on, then when I completely turn the key off, the turbo timer kicks on?
The turbo timer is only effective when I quickly turn the car off from "RUN" to "off". Anyone? |

JDM cars do not have the 'hot start' wire in the ignition harness. Therefore any plug in harness will only have five wires total, not six like US cars. You have to add the additional wire like you found out.
