Yes,
He installed the rear brakes like you do the front.
Just take off the old caliper and old rotor, put the new Z32 rotor and caliper on, bolt on, bleed and your done.

No emergency break setup.

I wanted to know if this is ok and if anyone else has done this.

sure, its OK. If you dont mind not having a parking brake/e-brake.
