Kinda just gaging interest here. Trying to start-up my own silkscreening small business. I know there's already alot of cheesy stuff out there, but just wondering what kinda stuff would you guys want to see on these new t-shirts. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. This way, it will lessen a lot of the trial and error crap that I won't be able to sell. Thanks

The secret is finding a market first.....basically find who you really want to sell to and then stick with just that.....like are you going to be making only drift shirts or others? It is better to concentrate on one core group and try to market yourself that way. That is just my opinon. I personally would like to see good logos, or neat "JDM" ish stuff...as opposed to cheesy cars sliding around like some "Rollin' Hard" shirt, but once again that is just me.

PS. i know how to screen print too. It'll cost a good amount of initial capital before you make $.

Right, that's why I'm trying to get suggestions so that I don't make a bunch of junk right off the bat, that nobody wants. Of course, you're gonna need to put in alot up front, only way your gonna succeed is be trying though...
Whoah, that was deep!!!

Anyway, yeah, about the targeted audience, I would like to really hit this drifting audience especially while it's still somewhat fresh, at least here in the states. Personally, I think the clean cut design or logo would work well, like matlock mentioned.

nothing related to drifting works for me... like logo are good but anything like just drift! got drift? driftin pwns fwd is gay........... just dont make a shirt that says the word drift on it... with a statement like one of those...

I tend to like the parody shirts the best... playing off 420sx's idea, how about

Things like that, humorous but not so narcissistic.
I dunno about u guys, but there's no way in hell I'd wear (for example) the "drift king" shirt (spoofing the burger king logo), unless I was an uber proficient drifter, which i know I'm not.

Seems like those type of shirts, while amusing, encourage being a poser.... something honda converts would wear.

just my 2cents.
