The Lemon Law only applies to car dealers, not private sales......... If PJ has a dealers lisence then you have a case....... I was an idiot that bought a lemon a few years back, my stepmom is the laywer that represents me, for my idiot problems......... If the buyer doesn't have the title, the agreement isn't set, the signature isn't on the title.......... Neither is the signature on the title, or duplicate copy of transfer........

lein against it....yah right.
I have yet to recieve the title as of today still. I have never had to wait this long for a title. Normally when you go and pay off the loan your handed the title..at least at my bank you are. I really dont care as of right now though. BD will be brought to justice. I bought a clean car and got a salvaged car..end of story. You have to notify the buyer of a lease or slavaged vehicle before selling it..let alone listing it on Ebay as a clear titled car. BD is going to go down!

This thread is so retarded. If you two morons (PJ and the Buyer) have not put your signatures on the title of the car, then the car technically is not sold. You just let PJ borrow your money for an indefinite amount of time. Secondly, I must say the you are quite the dumbass for buying the car. If its salvage, then it was probably crashed, bought of an insurance auction and then modified by PJ. All the mechanical things that are wrong with the car have nothing to do with the salvage title. The crap thats wrong with it is due mainly to the "boost designs" goodies under the hood.
P.S. I would once again like to remind you that you are a moron. Please ask for assistance in any endeaveors you decide to undertake from now one, your not capable of thinking on your own. |

wow... just wow. If you had bothered to read the whole thread, you would know it was misrepresented on ebay and sold as a clean title. Therefore, by default, you are the moron. Plus he probably didn't knwo BD was such a jerk-off company to begin with.

I put it like this....
Life is about livin' and learnin', to control your own fate, this is just a mistake where an individual had to pay out of pocket to learn what not to do ever again.......... Research bfore you purchase, thats what I say.........

Dealer buy or Private Seller buy....
Salvage titles have to be known before selling the car in California. You have the right to get your money back from him, march your ass over to him and return the junk.

Sorry I have to apologize, my post did come off as being rather negative.
Just understand that there are people making a living from ripping others off. It's happened to all of us at some point, sometimes on big purchases and sometimes on small ones. The best thing you can do is learn from your mistakes. Don't think of it as purchasing a bad car, think of it as purchasing a very important lesson. I have been ripped off in the past, and today I am much more jaded and skeptical. This is namely the reason I get angry at people who jump into pitfalls. I guess we all have to live and learn. My word of advice (so as to make myself productive on this thread): Don't trust anyone. If they are human, then they are flawed. BE AWARE OF ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. |

Well.. now that that is through.. could you post pictures of this car, as well as how much you purchased the car for? I took like.. 20 minutes to read everything and understand what was going on (no, I'm not a dumbass that can't read..) and I don't think I'll be pleased until I know and see.. haha. Good luck with the issue though.

I agree 100% with you. This has been a very good and very helpful lesson to me. I am to trusting and have always wanted to be able to take ppl for their word. Your right though...especially now with the internet , it is easier for ppl to rip others off. Lesson learned for sure....class dismissed...lmao. |

i have to say... for someone who spent 10k on a 240sx with probably a decent number of usable parts and a crapped out powertrain, you don't seem too upset.
good luck with the car man. |
