Only when the engine was first in the car, used it to clean the engine that had been sitting in the junkyard for an amount of time I couldn't have known... Put fresh oil and filter on after that and then changed it again in 1500 miles to be safe... I also used another can to clean a fuel system that had sat unused with about a half a tank of gas in it for almost a year... Hasn't been necessary since, and I change my oil religiously at 3000 miles now, give/take 100 miles.
