here's what you will need to do......

1. like junia said, i would expect that different cams would be needed to focus more on top end power.
2. find a VERY reputable engine builder, and have the engine balanced and blueprinted. what this does is completely tear apart the engine piece by piece. doing a complete inspection of each part, including measurements, weights, and load tolerances. remember that parts such as valve springs are not all the same, the factory has certain tolerances it allows for. the engine builder holds much stricter tolerances and will replace/modify whatever parts he feels necessary.  before you send the engine in, tell him what you are trying to accomplish; most likely, they have done someting very similar before and will have a plan of what to do.
3. as stated before, unless you have power up there, the new rev capabilities are useless

oh yeah, expect the balance and blueprint to cost you over 1000 bucks.
