Hey all,

Wanted to get your guys opinions on these 2 rims.. which one is better design and rim quality? the Rays gram lights 57pro or the Work meister s1 2piece? Both of these rims i'm considering them in gold. Let me know what you guys think.

Well he doesnt seem to be asking about the appearence. He wants to know the strength and quality of them in comparison

The 57s's are not that strong, Ive seen em crack in situations other wheels probably wouldnt have, not sure about the pro's. Works are probably a little higher quality because isnt gram light the budget line of rays?

yea the gramlights/ggames are the more 'affordable' line of the ray's line of wheels. I know numerous of people who ran work wheels without a single problem. They are very strong compared to volks. Volks are still quality wheels but it's not up to par with some of the work wheels available

Work wheels OWNZ JOOO!!!!
but seriously...
the work meister s1 is alot stronger
why...
STEPPED LIP Vs Reverse LIP
w/ the gl 57pro.. you can easily bend the front lip
compared to the meisters which is a little harder cause of the step in the lip making it stronger.

www.autornd.com
meister s1's at good price but still expensive.. =)

Neither, you either get a TE37 or a Ce28. Light as hell and strong as anything out there. Now if you are purchasing wheels as a fashion accessary or based on it's JDM bling factor as seems to be the case with most wheel purchases.... then get whatever tickles your fancy.

I once jumped a 12"+ curb at 90 mph being stupid one night on dry rotted tires and the only wheel ( 18" TE37 ) that suffered any damage was the one that took the hit broadside against the curb ( also took out the lower control arm ). This was in a 3600+ lb supra btw. I got 4 new wheels out of the insurance company and sold the other three because they were still nice and round.

Mine was silver too. This is a shot with the first set of TE37's. After the run in with the curb I went with wider wheels as the size hadn't been available previously. Good luck I guess

And here it is with a set of CCW's on it, just for comparison's sake.

they are both badass rims my friend billy has the 57pros on his supra and the s1's on his sileighty. it is hard to say what is cooler i have looked at both numerous times but in my opinion those are the two top rims of choice. either way way to cool
