PS13 speedo trouble!?!?!?

O.k. Whats goin' on?!?!?! I turn on my car and the speedometer won't turn on. Six minutes after I turn the car the speedo lights up and works perfectly.... this happens every time I turn on the car. Anyone know what is goin on!?!?!?

It is indeed dying, mine along with many many others did the same thing. There are several threads on here on how to fix them. Though from what I understand none of them are all that permanent. So, I just bought a digital speedo from Dakota Digital and for the time being it is in the pillar pod. Some may say GAY :ghey: , but it was resonably priced, easy to install, and a more permanent solution. Eventually, I will mold it into a pod to sit in front of where the factory speedo fit, then it will be considerably nicer and give me room in the pillar pod for other gauges.

Just thought I would give you another alternative to all the other options out there.

You did not confuse anyone the stock digital speedo is the one that everyone has problems with. I was just telling you what I did to permanently fix the problem instead of going through the steps that some of the guys have on here to temporarily fix the problem. Also, hate to be a dick, but if you search oem digital speedo there are many threads about this.
