In NC (don't want to speak on behalf of all states), it's illegal to have an aftermarket steering wheel in there since if a car originally has an airbag in it, it needs to stay that way. One reason can be if you get in an accident that can be blamed on someone else, this can help you out and will also prevent some legal trouble.You can't sue them if you took your airbag out and busted open your skull even though it was their fault since you didn't obey the law to keep that airbag in there. But will a cop notice it? Will your insurance company remember this? Guess it's supposed to be more for a "race car," so just see if it's worth it.
