For the first time in my life, i worked on my car.  My dad told we what bolts to take off and such, but thats about it.  I know like the whole bottom of my car now, and am getting pumped about the CA swap even more.

Me and my friend are planning to swap both our engines in 2 days (His GS 90' Eclipes to a GST and my KA 240 to a CA18DET) his dad has power tools and shit, and both his dad and my dad are machanics, and their going to help out.  It will prove to be very instersting, we are going to do it sometimes this summer.  Seeing as i found a CA for 1k, and he found a GST for like 1.2k it should be rather soon, maybe this summer.

What was the first major thing u had to repair on your 240s?

The first major repair? The clutch! Don't do burnouts on a 12 year old factory clutch LMAO.

Mine was the clutch and the rear rotors on the same weekend. While I was under the car I learned a lot and got a boost of the most important thing, confidence. Man sometimes I go to fix something and completly mess it up, but I know that I am going to learn from it and I know that I have enough sense to get it back to normal. It's nice not forking over hundreds of dollars to someone when you can do it yourself.
