IIRC, retarding the timing a bit helps with the carbon output.

Hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide?

If it's hyrdocarbons, then retarding timing will help a bit, but you probably need a new cat.

Aren't you KA-T? I'd say just find a shop with no soul and slip them some money <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> If you talk to some people, a shop like that shouldn't be hard to find. I know there are some around here...

Yeah datz what i did, i went to a diff. shop and just "bought" and inspection cuz it already expired last week.

I forgot carbon what but on the sheet is was listed as: "CO" i think the test limit was 18.2, but the test results were 30.0. Almost double.

You might want to study some basic chemistry. "CO" is Carbon Monoxide.
