Does anyone know what this might be? I have noticed a squeaking noise coming from the I think the back end of my car whenever I'm driving. It seems worse at lower speeds and when I apply the brakes the noise stops. Anyone have any ideas?

ehh.... could it be your muffler rubbing in something underneath? i had the prob last week, I had somehow acquired a tumbleweed under my car, some of it was stuck in the muffler perch and pushing the muffler against bumper slightly...
can't really offer much other help w/o more details. |

Check your brake pads. They have an audible wear indicator that will squeal when your brakes get too low.

I was thinking about the brakes but why would the noise stop when I applied the brakes? Doesn't seem to make sense. I'm going to get up under there this weekend and check everything out hopefully it's an easy fix.
