WebMD is the shit! People need to learn its not the same thing as cold sores. In my health class in high school, my teacher said that a lack of Vitamin C and too much Vitamin C can cause it. But I belive its too much. One week I got addicted to Welch's Passion Fruit juice, which contains 100% Vitamin C, and a week later my mouth got filled with canker sores, and it didn't go away for a while! Now I look at the labels of the citrus type drinks and check for that 100% warning. Everything in moderation, if you dont drink it excessively, it wont do anyharm. I usually get it like a few times a year like WebMD says.

Also, I believe its genetics, my mom gets them and tells me she would get them a lot when she was a teen. So I guess that 10-20 group makes sense. My dad nor my sis dont get it. But they get pimples, and me and my mom dont. Genetics is interesting, isn't it? lol.

Your only believe half of what your health teacher told you? IIRC vitamin C is water soluble and its really really hard to get too much of it, because if you have too much it just goes out in your pee
