6k is a lot to pay for the whole swap. I paid $5500 total including running 240 w/ 100k SR and instal
Look on line to see if anybody in your area does the swap i.e. shade tree mechanic. BTW the way I talked my wife into it was the money we were saving could be a down payment on a new car and more car payments or get an new engine and no car payments and essentially a new car
