maf after bov to fix open atmosphere/stalling issues?

will running the maf after the bov fix the stalling issues that people have when running open atmospheric bov and running rich? say if the open bov is placed on the hot pipe and the maf is placed on the cold side rather than before the filter.

does that mean the maf plug wire would run all the way across the engine bay to the coldpipe? I have never heard of such a thing. Why not just recirculate? Is there any advantage to this?

Yah, they do it on ka-t.org a lot. You don't have to run a long intake pipe but then you HAVE to mount the BOV before the MAF.

Advantage? there are some.. its a matter of preference I think.
www.ka-t.org will have all kinds of info for you.

i have read before that a lot of japanese tuners will actually do this so that the car will still run whether or not the car is under boost. so basically if there is no boost your car will still run like a naturally aspirated engine. i think it is a nifty trick, if you ask me.
