alternator replacement: how hard?

my alternator went out in my s14. it's kade. how hard is it to install an alternator? any tips or tricks?

Jack up the car from the passenger side and get the alt. out from the bottom. That the easiest way to get it out. You may have to push the lower radiator hose out of the way a little.

I was going to say, taking it out from the bottom is twice the work. I guess if you like making things harder you could do it that way.

I took mine out from the top, working around a rad house and intercooler piping and it was my first time, it is super easy, good time to change belts too

I thought it was easier to take it from the bottom. Makes it easier to access the bottom bolt as well. Oh well...
