Info on fabricating own grounding kit
I was trying to purchase a grounding kit from Import Soultions, but I can't seem to get in touch with them. So I am going to build my own. Could anyone tell me the lengths of the cables from either the import solutions kit or the hks kit? I searched and came up empty. It's for s13 with sr. Thanks

you're kiddiing right?
just cut them to whatever lenght you need them, it will look cleaner that way. Its a ground wire. It doesnt really get any simpler.

there are A LOT of threads on this, but unless you're stock grounds have more than 2 ohms of resistance, I wouldn't bother "fabricating" a grounding kit. They're mostly for show...

Go for less than .1-.5V across the ground when cranking. .5v is generally considered acceptable, and you probably won't get it any better than .1 or .2V. I picked up four 4ga. grounds for less than 10 bucks, preterminated with ring terminals that work perfect for 12mm (8mm thread) bolts.. Worked great for me, check out near the batteries in wal-mart, they are for lawn tractors ![]()

Yeah don't measure in Ohms to find out if the ground is good. Like said above, although in newer cars with more electronics I personally would not want any more than 0.2-0.4volts of a voltage drop.
